Ultradian Diagnostics is an early stage medical device company whose mission is the development of advanced, continuous, wireless biosensors for on-patient monitoring and management of chronic illnesses. Our initial product, called Biologue, is a next generation, minimally invasive, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system for the management of diabetes. • Reduced calibration requirements to one time per sensor wear period (5 days),
• Product shelf-life of 12-18 months at room temperature,
• The ability to predict and alarm users 20 minutes in advance of exceeding either a high or low glucose level,
• The ability to detect early signs of diabetes years before clinical symptoms occur,
• Provide a calibration free interface to an insulin pump.

In combination, these distinct competitive advantages leap-frog the competition and position the company at the forefront of the quest to develop a calibration-free, closed loop “artificial pancreas.” The company’s preferred exit strategy is to be acquired by a major healthcare company who will complete high volume manufacturing of the product for distribution through their existing sales network.
